Bletchley Park may close up shop

I sure hope they come up with funding. This is *so* on my UK to-do list, but it could be a few years before I can make that to-do a reality.

When we went to the UK in 2006, Bletchley Park was on my list of places to visit and somehow, amidst a list that was longer than we had time for, found the time to go.

Apart from the main building, it had a general feeling of being rundown, and numerous of the outbuildings were in a sad state. It's sad that they don't seem to have attracted any wealthy benefactors who could really help.

I guess there's just not enough there to attract a large crowd. It is a shame though, I suspect that ultimately some of the equipment will end up as a separate exhibition at the Science Museum in London

Anyway, now I'm aware of this I'll probably drop in one of the weekends and check it out.
